Experian Limited will receive a fee from brokers and lenders for our services and receive commission fees when you choose their products, visit their websites, call them, or apply for credit.
For some products, Experian Limited also receive commission when you make a successful application. The payment from the broker is either a flat fee or a percentage of the brokers revenue, or a combination of these.
Typically, the payment from the broker is either:
1. A flat fee of up to £75, or 2. Up to 60 % of the broker’s revenue(the broker revenue varies but is typically 0.36 % of the mortgage amount plus a £1, 500 fixed fee), or A combination of 1 and 2.
